Willy Wallace’s Flat
This traditional flat in a city centre townhouse was originally built in 1800, but has been updated for modern day living, whilst still keeping a traditional feel. It has been newly renovated and is in easy walking distance to the Castle and the Old town Jail (5 minutes) It is a lovely place to stay right in the city centre with everything to settle in and cook at home, or walk out the front door and be in a variety of shops, bars and restaurants in minutes.
The Common Room
The common room is truly the essence of our friendly hostel – a cheerful gathering place where you can chill, enjoy a good book or movie, plan your journey, but above all, make new friends and meet travellers from all over the world!
With cookers, guest fridges, and all necessary utensils, our fully equipped kitchen will please the cordon-bleu travellers … and will provide you a nice cuppa of free tea or coffee after a long day of sightseeing! Our kitchen was totally revamped in 2018, which is a huge achievement for our little hostel.
We have got several bathrooms scattered around the hostel, some of which have been newly redone in 2017, all of them are being updated regularly. Feel free to ask reception to point you to an alternative bathroom should your favourite one be occupied!
